Commencement Information

The Spring 2025 IUP Commencement ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2025, at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 AM and will be held rain or shine. All graduates are required to participate in the commencement ceremony.

Tickets

Each graduate will be provided with four guest tickets. Additional tickets may be purchased for $10 each. Tickets will be available for pick up at the IUP Bookstore beginning on Monday, April 27, 2025.

Caps and Gowns

Caps and gowns will be provided to all graduates. Graduates are required to wear the official IUP cap and gown during the commencement ceremony.

Seating

Seating for graduates and guests will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Graduates should arrive at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex at least one hour prior to the start of the ceremony.
