Health and Wellness Services Available in Spring 2025

Medical Services

CU Denver students have access to a wide range of medical services including primary care, urgent care, and counseling. The Student Health Center is located on campus and provides comprehensive medical care to students. The center offers services such as physical exams, immunizations, and lab tests. Students can also receive confidential mental health counseling at the Student Health Center.

Wellness Programs

CU Denver offers a variety of wellness programs to help students stay healthy and well. These programs include nutrition counseling, fitness classes, and stress management workshops. The Wellness Center is located on campus and provides students with access to resources such as a gym, pool, and group fitness classes. The center also offers a variety of workshops and programs on topics such as nutrition, stress management, and sleep health.

Immunization Services

CU Denver requires all students to be immunized against certain diseases, including measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR). Students can receive immunizations at the Student Health Center or at a local health clinic. CU Denver also offers a free immunization clinic for students who cannot afford to pay for immunizations.

Mental Health Services

CU Denver offers a variety of mental health services to students, including therapy, counseling, and crisis intervention. Dental Services

The center offers a variety of pharmacy services, including prescription filling, medication counseling, and over-the-counter medications. Transportation and Parking for the Spring 2025 Semester

Public Transportation

CU Denver students can use their Buff OneCard to ride RTD buses and light rail for free. The Auraria Campus is served by the following RTD routes:

38: Downing/Santa Fe
44: Sheridan
66: University Hills/Downtown

Biking

The Auraria Campus is bike-friendly, with designated bike lanes and bike parking. There are also a number of bike-sharing stations on campus.

Walking

The Auraria Campus is located in the heart of downtown Denver, so it is easy to walk to many of the city’s amenities.

Parking

Students can purchase parking permits for the Auraria Campus parking garages. There are also a number of surface parking lots available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Visitor Parking

Visitors to the Auraria Campus can purchase parking permits at the parking information kiosks. Visitors can also park in the Auraria Surface Lot for free for up to two hours.

Disabled Parking

Disabled parking is available in all Auraria Campus parking garages and surface lots. Disabled parking permits are required.

Parking Enforcement

CU Denver Police Department enforces parking regulations on the Auraria Campus. Students and visitors are responsible for following all posted parking signs.
